Application for the Huntsville 2018 Parade are now CLOSED. If you are a bike, skooter or walker, you may still show up the morning of the Parade and join in that group.
Huntsville 4th of July Parade
The Theme for 2018 is:
“A Hometown 4th: Remembering Our Past”
Huntsville Town is excited to celebrate Independence Day
with our traditional Parade on Wednesday, 4 July 2018, at 10:00 a.m. Leading off the Parade is our Town-Wide Flag Ceremony around the Park. We invite all in attendance to stand as the flags go by and to recite the Pledge of Allegiance together when directed. This will be followed by the singing of our National Anthem by all in attendance.
Parade participation is FREE to all Ogden Valley Residents (84317, 84310). This includes School groups, Churches, Families, Individuals and Non-profits. Please decorate your floats in a patriotic manner according to the theme and with signage introducing who you are.
Non-Ogden Valley entrants and Ogden Valley Businesses will pay a $30 participation fee: (2018 Registration Closed)
All non-resident Businesses will pay a $100 participation fee: (2018 Registration Closed)
Parade Application – Required for All Participants
“Lawn Mower Brigade,” “Golf Cart Groupies,” children walking or participants on bikes are encouraged to decorate their mode of transportation. All but the bikes and scooters must fill out a Parade Application to receive a Parade Permit. Prizes for best float and this year for best decorated bikes.
Walking or bike-riding participants under 8 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or older sibling/guardian (at least 12 years old).
Floats and parade entries line up by 9:15 a.m.
Application Due: June 26, 2018 (after date, additional fees apply to all)
Applicants accepted for the parade will be sent a Parade Permit and instructions for lining up on the day of the parade.
