INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION – PARADE

Huntsville 4th of July Parade
The theme for 2016 is:
“AMERICA, THE BEAUTIFUL”

 

Huntsville Town is excited to celebrate Independence Day with our traditional parade on Monday, July 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.

Spectators: You are welcome to watch along the route shown on the map below.

Parade Participants: No “show-up” entries are allowed except children walking or on bikes. All other entries must fill out a Parade Application to receive a Parade Permit. A Parade Permit is required for all vehicles entering First Street.

Walking or bike-riding participants under 8 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or older sibling/guardian (at least 12 years old).

Floats and parade entries line up by 9:15 a.m.

Application Due: June 13, 2016 $30.00 fee (after date, additional fees apply) 


Parade entries will be judged and awards given in three categories:

Most Creative, Most Patriotic, and a Grand Prize.

Applicants accepted for the parade will be sent a Parade Permit and instructions for lining up on the day of the parade.

Miss LibertyWe encourage you to gather with friends and family to create something memorable!  We’ll make this the best parade ever!  We ask that you keep the entries “Family Friendly” please.  We will not be announcing the parade this year, so we ask that you decorate your cars, trucks, floats, and tractors so everyone will know who you are.
