Volunteers Needed Again at the Playground Bathrooms.
Remodeling the old restrooms by the playground is hard work and takes a lot of organizing and muscle!! A big pile of gravel was delivered today by the restrooms. There is 6,000 lbs of gravel that needs to be spread over the bathroom floor area in preparation for the cement.
Any and all volunteers are welcome at any time of day. Just bring your gloves, shovel, and wheelbarrel and start spreading the joy! (and by joy I really mean gravel) You can work as a group or on your own, for 1/2 an hour or all day! Just show up and start shoveling. There is no set time but we are hoping to get help on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
PLEASE CONTACT LEE PRIMM @ 801-389-5039 BEFORE YOU BEING WORKING. HE IS COORDINATING THE EFFORTS THIS TIME. Thanks Lee, you are awesome!!

Huntsville Road Improvments
Huntsville roads have been improved thanks to a state grant. Bad spots along 1st street roadway have been covered with asphalt, in addition guard rails have been upgraded for the safety of drivers. The concrete road to cemetery point was roughly 80 ft long. Narrow areas have been widened by 2ft on each side of this concrete road and have been overlaid with asphalt. On July eighteenth 1st street will receive a chip seal from high way 39 to the cemetery point. Mayor Truett would like to thank Rex Harris and Max Ferre for helping Huntsville obtain the state grant. In addition to the grant the town used B&C road funds, and also used tolls received from toll collections at cemetery point marina.
