Huntsville Town CDBG Grant Income Survey

Dear Huntsville Residents:

Happy New Year!!  We know it's been quite a year. Hopefully this email finds you well and celebrating the year to come. 

We wanted to let you know that Huntsville Town intends to apply for a Federal Grant. The public hearing to discuss projects for Federal Funding will be on Thursday, January 7th at 7:00 p.m. If you would like to contribute to the conversation you may join in the public hearing or email comments to clerk@huntsvilletown.com.

In conjuction with the application for federal funding, Huntsville Town is required to perform a random, anonymous income survey of full term residents. This survey will be a door to door survey and will be conducted this upcoming week. We have volunteers that have been assigned different areas of Town and provided with materials to go door to door to conduct this survey. Not every resident will be selected to participate.

The survey is anonymous, random and takes about 30 seconds to complete. Upon completing the survey, residents will be asked to put their survey into a blank, white envelope and seal the results. The grant administrators will be the only ones to see the results and tabulate the statistics. 

We would be so appreciative of your cooperation with us and the volunteers collecting the information as we complete these requirements to apply for these funds.
