he Town Council is moving forward with plans to celebrate our nation's Independence Day on Saturday, July 3rd, 2021. The tenative schedule is below:
The Chad and Wendy McKay family is hosting a potluck celebration at their home on June 9th at 6 p.m. to honor retiring bus driver, Steve Kendell. Anyone who would like to thank him for 20 years of driving the Town children (and teens) to and from school all of these years, is welcome to join them. Congratulations Steve!

The Huntsville Nominating Conventions were held on Tuesday, May 25th. Thank you for the great attendance! For the 2021 election, there are two Council Member positions and one mayor position.
Governor Cox has declared a state of emergency because of the drought that we are facing this summer. The Huntsville Waterworks Corporation is hopeful that the water we have will last through the coming summer. Our irrigation company will try to extend the irrigation season until October 1, 2021.
I would like to thank Kelly Wood and the "Salt City CycleKarts" for putting on a wonderful event in Huntsville town on Saturday May 15th.
Huntsville's Green Waste Landfill is currently open to Town residents only. Hours are Saturday's from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $5.00 a day or $20 for a 5 punch pass. The Landfill will take yard waste up to 4 inches in diameter.
