Weber Remembers 9-11 Event
Good Afternoon Residents,
The Major Brent Taylor Foundation, in collaboration with our local law enforcement, military, and fire communitites, is proud to sponsor Weber Remembers: The 9/11 Project, to commemorate the events of September 11, 2001, and honor the lives lost and the sacrifices made in service to us all as a result of that day.
WEber Remembers is creating an immersive, interactive memorial museum experience that will allow the public to see, hear and touch things that tell the story of September 11, 2001. this event will run from September 9th through September 11th, 2021 at the Weber County fairgrounds. As part of the event, we will be featuring the cities of Weber county in the museum. A little video previewing the event can be found on our website www.huntsvilletown.com.
Huntsville Town has been asked to participate in this immersive experience. We have been asked to collect 1-4 photos that represent own Town. Specifically, they are looking for landmarks, town celebrations or photos of the Town itself. In addition, they are requesting three to four sentences about what brings our community together to make our Town unique.
The Town Council would love residents to submit either a photo, sentence (or four) or even both to this event. These items should be sent to email@example.com by July 28th. The staff will select the photos we feel most represent Huntsville Town. There will be a feature on our website of those items along with a little "thank you" for participating. Those photos and sentences selected will be sent on to WEber Remembers for a display during the celebration.
Thank you for participating!!
